Located 20 minutes south of Nathon, Taling Ngam is one of the most isolated beaches on Koh Samui. Aside from the occasional long tail or speedboat, there’s none of the noise or traffic that you can find all too easily on the island’s busier beaches such as Chaweng and Lamai.
Taling Ngam Beach itself is untouched and beautiful, with clear water and a small reef just off the coast. As Taling Ngam is located on the western side of Koh Samui, it’s a fantastic place to watch the sun set over the Gulf of Thailand and Angthong Marine Park.
Accommodation on Taling Ngam primarily consists of high-end resorts. The Conrad Koh Samui and InterContinental Resort are two of the largest, most popular luxury hotels in the area. Taling Ngam also has several upmarket residential developments in and around the beach.
