Klong Nin has a lot of places to eat that are literally next door to each other. It’s easy to walk from place to place on the main Klong Nin beach strip, either along the beach itself or along the road that runs parallel to the beach. You can enter restaurants either from the road or the beach.
For classic Thai food, visit Klong Nin stalwarts Jai Dee and Richey Bar – next door to each other and both facing out over the beach.
Cook Kai is also a great choice for Thai food up on the road, a friendly family run restaurant that does tasty cheap food.
Otto’s Bar and Grill has huge portions of Western food like ribs and half a chicken with potatoes and salad if you’re looking for somewhere to get a big feed.
Sweetsoul is a beach bar specialising in delicious vegetarian food with friendly staff.
French Bakery not only sells French bread and croissants but is also a solid pizza restaurant with a sea view.
There are numerous beachfront bars to hang out during the day and watch the amazing Klong Nin sunsets. Harry’s Sunset Bar, Horizon and Big Bang are all great choices to sit and enjoy the beach, and they all do a mix of Thai and Western food to go with your drinks.
There’s also three different cafes with an emphasis on healthy and vegetarian food, including smoothies, coffee, açai bowls and so on. They are Full Fill, a little bit away from the Klong Nin beach strip at the Klong Nin junction; Galapagos, just opposite Lanta Roundhouse on the road in the middle of the beach strip; and Coconut Tempo, further along the beach strip as the road heads off to Klong Toab and Kantiang bay.
Auntie Mae Bakery and Coffee just outside Klong Nin has also been around for years serving upon quality coffee and baked goods.
