- You can fly into Phuket or Krabi airport from Bangkok. There are several domestic flights a day from Bangkok to Krabi and Bangkok to Phuket. See 12Go for details. Phuket also has quite a few international flights that come directly into Thailand. Krabi has a few international flights too, such as Tiger Airways’ Singapore to Krabi flight.
- There is no airport at Koh Phi Phi or Koh Lanta. You can catch a ferry from Krabi or Phuket to Koh Lanta or to Koh Phi Phi. The journey time is two to three hours depending on your destination. It’s possible to catch ferries from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi to Lanta to Krabi in a round trip if you wish to see all four places.
- Express speedboat transfers to Koh Lanta and minivan transfers to Koh Lanta are available from Phuket, Krabi and several other destinations – these are ideal if you want to travel in comfort, have a large group of people travelling or a lot of luggage.
- If you have cash to splash, you can also take a private speedboat direct from Phuket to Koh Lanta or Koh Phi Phi to Koh Lanta.
