In the high season you can stop over on Koh Lipe before traveling to the Malaysian island of Langkawi. The ferry takes you through all immigration procedures crossing from Thailand into Malaysia. In low season wjen the ferry is not running you will have to go to the Thai mainland and exit Thailand through immigration in Satun.
