Sunrise Beach is Koh Lipe’s largest beach. Located on the eastern side of the island, Sunrise Beach is a long white sand beach with clear water and two small islands — Koh Kra and Koh Usen, both of which are popular for snorkelling — located just off the coast.

Clear, calm water makes Sunrise Beach the most popular beach on Koh Lipe for snorkelling, with several vendors offering snorkelling equipment rental. The beach has a more laid back, peaceful atmosphere than busier Pattaya Beach.
There are several resorts built along Sunrise Beach, ranging from cheap bungalow resorts to upmarket villas. The beach has a small selection of restaurants and bars, with more options available a short walk away on Walking Street.
At the northern end of Sunrise Beach, you’ll find Karma Beach — a smaller, quieter and more isolated beach with a long sand spit that extends into the Andaman Sea.
