Boats from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi leave from Klong Jilard pier located about four kilometres from Krabi Town. To get to the pier from Krabi Town use white songthaews (around 30 Thai Baht per person) or hire a taxi (about 150 Thai Baht).
The ferry between Krabi and Koh Phi Phi operates from October until May. From June to September the ferry may cancel trips due to the winds changing directions creating unpredictable large waves, also with less tourism in these months the boat may not be full.
