Temple House Villa In More Detail
The Temple House Villa is one of the largest villas on Koh Lanta – 400 square metres in total. A 3 storey villa it is the perfect place to rent for large groups containing 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each room through out is fully air conditioned and tastefully decorated allowing a maximum of 13 guests to stay together. The villa has a private swimming pool and on top of it all stunning panoramic sea views which include the sunsets. Even if you are travelling in a large group the villa has many terrace and seating areas that you can find your own oasis and private time.
Located on the top of a hill side and set within a private prestigious villa complex. The Temple House Villa lets you enjoy a completely private quiet retreat but still within easy walking to one of Koh Lanta’s best all year round beaches, Kantiang Bay. Please note however as the villa is on a hill walking back may be a struggle for some so a form of transport would be recommended when you stay here.
Open Plan Lounge, Dining Room and Kitchen
On the upper level is the open plan lounge area, dining area and kitchen. Wherever you are in this area, you are surrounded by stunning sea views. The lounge area is fully air conditioned with ceiling fans helping to keep it cool. Due to your location on a hill another option to keep cool is to open the doors to the terrace, there is usually a cool sea breeze. Inside the lounge is a large very comfortable sofa seating 10 persons, flat screen TV, DVD player and cable TV channels for your entertainment. There is also a small terrace with table and chair so you can sit outside admiring the views to the fullest.
The kitchen and dining area fill up the other half of the open plan room. The kitchen has everything you need to for cooking a meal or snack at home. Large worktops for preparation, gas hob, an oven, microwave, rice cooker, blender, coffee machine. There are also plenty of cooking utensils.
Sitting in the middle of the room is a large wooden table and chairs with seating for 10 persons. The cupboards are stocked with tableware, glassware, cutlery and crockery for the whole group to eat.

Temple House Villa Bedrooms
The villa is one of the largest villas on Koh Lanta to date, enjoying 5 double bed bedrooms and one bedroom with 3 single beds. This combination allows 13 guests to sleep in comfort and the single beds are great if your traveling with children. The villa also has a baby cot if required.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is one of the largest bedrooms in the villa. In the room is a sofa, wardrobes and drawers. The bed is well positioned facing out toward the sea and the room has floor to ceiling windows with direct access to the pool and sun loungers. The master bedroom is the only bedroom which also has an ensuite bathroom.

Bedroom With Private Terrace
There is no shortage of quality bedrooms to choose from. Another bedroom is also located at the front of the villa on the upper level which allows stunning sea views. It also has its own private terrace area to relax on and have a little private time, a great place to read a book.

All bedrooms are air conditioned and tastefully decorated, furnished with drawers, shelving, wardrobes and some a TV. Most of the bedrooms are at the back of the villa with shared bathrooms in between rooms. The bedrooms offer tranquil settings with tree views outside. Temple House Villa Bathrooms
There are four bathrooms in the villa all with hot water shower, sink with large on top storage areas and western toilets. The master bedroom is the only bedroom which is ensuite. The other bedrooms all share bathrooms.
Temple House Villa Grounds
The villa has a private swimming pool with stunning sea views, surrounded by terrace areas and seating. The pool is completely private no other villas can overlook the villa grounds and pool. If you wish for a change, there is a another, larger pool which is for the use of all guests within the complex at the bottom of the hill.
The grounds feature ample parking and underneath the villa near the main entrance is a private garage. The villas and road to them are well-lit all night along the grounds. The location, quite atmosphere, breath taking views, well equipped villa help to make it a safe and secure holiday retreat for you and your family.
How To Get To The Temple House Villa
If you are arriving at Krabi Airport or Phuket Airport booking an Express Transfer will allow you to transfer quickly, safely and direct. Our driver will be waiting for you upon arrival at the arrivals gate with your name on a placard then its a combination of minivan and speedboat travel direct to the villa. If you arrive very late at night the speedboat may not be operating, how ever you can normally still arrive on Koh Lanta the same day by using the Private Minivan service.
If you are already in Thailand you can also be picked up from your Hotel, with a time that suits you best and safely transferred directly to the Villa by using the Express Transfers from popular areas like Ao Nang, Krabi Town, or Phuket these areas are also serviced by using the Private minivan.
What is nearby to the Temple House Villa
The Temple House Villa is part of a small villa complex located just outside Kantiang Bay which has been voted as one of the Top Beaches in Thailand. The roads to the Villa are all concrete roads except it is based on a hill. Walking down in to Kantiang Bay is quite easy as its all downhill how ever going home is a different matter so when staying here hiring a motorbike or car here is strongly recommended to get around or a simple taxi ride home from the beach.

Just outside the Temple House Villa on the main road you will find Jungle View Restaurant which offers Thai and Italian food. Then Following the road down into Kantiang Bay which is only 0.3 km away, near the bottom on the right is Drunken Sailors Coffee Shop. A laid back cafe where you may get stuck all day lounging in hammocks with a large menu of Burgers, Pasta, Thai classics and great coffee. Just around the bend is the A La Carte restaurant offering BBQ fish and Pappaya salad all Thai classics. Walk toward the beach and enjoy a seafood BBQ at the Bay Front restaurant located on the beach at the Baan Laanta Resort. A nice walk then left along the beach and you can enjoy the Same Same But Different Restaurant.

How To Travel Around Koh Lanta From The Temple House Villa
You will find many enjoyable things close to the Villa with in easy walking distance, how ever the Island is around 35 km long so for a stay renting a car, motorbike or Tuk Tuk would be advised. You can hire them on daily or weekly basis and the Temple House Villa manager will be happy to help and organise these rentals for you when you arrive on Koh Lanta.
If you are not comfortable with a bike or car then you can easily travel back and forth on Koh Lanta by using the local tuk tuk drivers. However even after negotiating a good price this option does start to become expensive as each ride is charged per person. To find a tuk tuk driver just wait next to the road and wave one down. When you are in Saladan Village, the main Koh Lanta shopping area, there are many tuk-tuks waiting on the main road, near to the 7-11.
