The Alanta 3 bedroom villas (there are three in total) are completely private with a serene atmosphere. Each villa is identical in layout, size and decor. The impressive decorations, colour scheme and attention to details create a remarkable peaceful ambiance. Each villa has its own private pool and tropical garden area that is surrounded by a high wall keeping them completely private.
The villas are built on one level, and in a L shape. This shape allows every room to have direct access and views to the pool and gardens. The 3 bedrooms all have tropical ensuite bathrooms which are outside but have a roof on them.

Alanta Villa Location
The Alanta Villa sits 800 metres back from Klong Khong Beach and is only a short walk away to local restaurants and convenience stores. The location is peaceful as there are no bars, clubs or mosques (with the early morning call to prayer) close by. The Alanta Villa is perfect for couples and families to completely unwind in and larger groups of friends or wedding parties who want to have their own space but be located close to one another. Alanta Villa also has an on-site manager who will take care of you during the day and at night a security guard keeps the villa and grounds secure.

Air Con Ensuite Bedrooms
Alanta Villa has three spacious air conditioned bedrooms with double beds. The air con is cleverly hidden behind the wooden art work with soft lighting to create the ambiance. All three bedrooms have luxury ensuite bathrooms with a difference, they enjoy tropically charming outdoor showers and toilets with a private door to them. One of the rooms also has a day bed for use for extra guests or if a child wants to sleep in the same room.

The ensuite bathroom enjoys an open wash basin which is separated from the shower and toilet. Inside the wash basin area you will find a large vanity mirror along the wall and many power plugs. If you like to electric shave you will also need an adapter.

First Bedroom Ensuite Toilet And Shower
The western toilet sits opposite the shower and sits back in a recess area keeping it private. The toilet and shower has a roof on the top allowing it to feel open air at the same time protecting you. With the colour scheme and flowering it feels very tropical.
Bedroom two and three
Bedrooms two and three are built next to each other. They both include ensuite tropical bathrooms which are set away from each other.
Connecting doors – great from families
A very thoughtful design for families traveling together is that these two bedrooms have connecting doors. These are the only bedrooms which have this feature. If you’re travelling with children this door allows you to be close to them at all time. If you’re travelling as a couple leaving it closed will allow you your own privacy.

Every room is identical in size, decor and both have soft furnishings, lighting and wardrobes. Both rooms also enjoy sliding doors straight on to the pool and terrace.
The ensuite bathroom both enjoy an open wash basin which is separated from the shower and toilet. In side the wash basin area you will find a large vanity mirror along the wall and many power plugs and also a hairdryer.

Separated outside you can enjoy the western toilet and on another wall is the rain shower. This area has a roof covering with natural sunlight filtering through. It has an open air tropical feel at the same time with the roof protecting you.

The lounge, dining area and kitchen area are all built under one roof. The sides are open, giving an impressive expanse large feel and ceiling fans will help to keep you cool in the day.
The lounge area has seating and a hidden 40″ TV built in a cabinet which helps to separate the room. I am sure you will not watch TV as wherever you sit you can enjoy the views of the pool and gardens.
The stunning dining and kitchen area are also nicely decorated with a touch of summer. It will be a pleasure to cook and dine here. The kitchen and dining area are separated by an island bar top allowing you to chat whilst preparing food.

Where Is Klong Klong Beach On Koh Lanta?
As Klong Khong Beach is smaller than neighbouring Klong Nin, it is not that developed with a handful of hotels and restaurants. (See our Best Klong Khong Restaurants guide for more info). If you need more variety, a quick tuk tuk ride to Klong Nin provides lots more options on Klong Nin Beach itself, and there are also many places to eat along on the main road too. It’s also a short taxi or motorbike ride from Klong Khong over to Lanta Old Town, just over the other side of Koh Lanta, which has some beautiful old Thai wooden houses and several seaside restaurants and bars to enjoy.

How To Get To Alanta Villa
If you are arriving at Krabi airport or Phuket Airport booking an Express transfer will allow you to transfer quickly, safely and direct. Our driver will be waiting for you upon arrival at the arrivals gate with your name on a plaque then its a combination of minivan and speedboat travel direct to the villa. If you arrive very late at night the speedboat may not be operating, how ever you can normally still arrive on Koh Lanta the same day by using the Private Minivan service.
If you are already in Thailand you can also be picked up from your Hotel, with a time that suits you best and safely transferred directly to the Villa by using the Express transfers from popular areas like Ao Nang, Krabi Town, or Phuket these areas are also serviced by using the Private minivan.

Who Will We Meet Upon Arrival And What Happens On Departure
Alanta Villa has an on-site manager located in their own separate office nearby who will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and show you around the villa. The manager will offer their expert first hand knowledge of Koh Lanta and also be happy to help and advise you with any problems you encounter. They will also help you organise motorbike and car rentals on the island. Then on the day of departure the on-site manager will come to inspect the villa for any damage and return your deposit before wishing you Bon Voyage.
Don’t forget to book an Express Transfer for your return to Krabi Airport or to any other local destinations such as Ao Nang and Phuket.

Alanta Villa is well positioned, centrally in Khlong Khong area sitting back 300 meters from the main road. The Villa is elevated from the road with accesses by a private concrete road which is well lit at night. The incline is not steep and any one can easily walk to the Villa even with strollers.

Alanta Villa is located near Klong Khong Beach which is a very friendly, relaxed beach area and takes no more than 10 minutes to walk to. Along the beach you will find many established beach bars and restaurants how ever along the road side it is not as developed as other areas with only a handful of Thai restaurants, convenience stores and coffee shops.

Places To Eat And Drink Near to Alanta Villa
Turn right along the main road side and a great Thai Seafood restaurant is called Lod Yao here the food is excellent highly recommended is Goong Tod Kratiam Prik Thai (Shrimp fried with garlic and pepper) Lard Nar Talay ( large noodles in gravy with seafood) . A little further is a small friendly restaurant called Travel So far which serves great western food and after that there is Fresh Mart Shop convenience store which closes at 22:00. There are fresh fruit and vegetable stores located here also and opposite the road you will enjoy the Meeting Point Restaurant where the Massaman Curry is very good. Turn Left along the road and you will enjoy Peak Cafe and Green Leaf Cafe serving nice coffee, Neng Restaurant and Bula Restaurant which is opposite a 7 Eleven 24 hour convenience store.
On the Khlong Khong Beach all the resorts have there own restaurants. The Riviera resort has a very tropical feel to it with the restaurant on the beach. I would suggest also head to Fishermans Cottage which is situated behind the 7 Eleven, here the food is always amazing and presented nicely. For Drinks the best places to hang out are the Sound Shack, Feeling Bar, Chocolate Bar and Fishermans Cottage, how ever there are many more beach bars to choose from, you only have to walk along the beach.

How To Travel Around Koh Lanta From Alanta Villa
You will find many enjoyable things close to the villa with in easy walking distance, however the island is around 35 km long so for a stay renting a car, motorbike or tuk tuk would be advised. You can hire them on daily or weekly basis and Aor the villa manager will be happy to help and organise these rentals for you when you arrive on Koh Lanta.
If you are not comfortable with a bike or car then you can easily travel back and forth on the Island by using the local Tuk Tuk drivers. These can be a lot of fun and the locals with there friendly manner will entertain you as they go. However even after negotiating a good price this option does start to become expensive as each ride is charged per person. To find a taxi driver just wait next to the road and they will stop instantly. When you are in Saladan the main Koh Lanta Shopping area, if you walk out of the centre there are many queuing up to take you home. However later at night this service can become sparse and getting home from a party at 3am can become a challenge.
