It’s no Full Moon Party, but Railay Beach has several relaxed, chilled-out places to hang out on the sand after the sun goes down – especially if you like reggae.

Railay has quite a lot in the way of beachside nightlife in high season with West Railay being quieter than East Railay. Bamboo Bar and D Bar are both bamboo affairs with the usual reggae style theming that has become so prevalent on southern Thai beaches.
Joy’s bar specialises in cocktails and is a relaxed place with fast internet. Skunk is a relatively (though not entirely) reggae free zone which makes it quite a change from everywhere else adorned with the image of Bob Marley and churning out the same tunes. The Last Bar is really exactly that. At the end of East Railay, it is the closest thing to a disco that Railay has to offer. There tend to be fire shows on the beach of an evening.
Things To Do In Ao Nang, Railay and Krabi Town
There are lots of excursions and activities in Ao Nang itself, but also in nearby places like Railay Beach and Krabi Town.
