The Koh Lanta to Trang Airport Speedboat Transfer price includes:

  • You are transferred from your Koh Lanta hotel by car to Saladan village pier
  • You then go on board the speedboat which takes you on a stunning boat ride across the water along the coastline of Koh Lanta
  • The journey takes around 15 minutes depending on weather and conditions
  • When you arrive at Krabi speedboat pier, you are transferred to an air conditioned minivan. It’s a 1 hour 20 minute journey from Krabi pier to Trang Airport
  • The total journey time is 2 to 2.5 hours depending on your hotel location on Koh Lanta
  • The earliest speedboat departure time is at 0630. This will get you to Trang Airport by approx 0830

The Express Transfer takes 2 to 2.5 hours door to door from your Koh Lanta hotel to Trang Airport. The private minivan transfer usually takes around 3.5 to 4 hours door to door, depending on how quickly the two car ferries for the crossing from Koh Lanta to the Krabi mainland operate. The Express Transfer saves time by making the crossing by speedboat, so bypassing the wait for the car ferries.

What’s The Earliest I Can Leave From Koh Lanta To Return To Trang Airport?
The Express Transfer is designed to connect guests to the first flights departing from Trang Airport each day. The Express Transfer first speedboat departs at 0630, arriving at Trang Airport at 0830. Trang Airport is very small and there are minimal check-in queues.

Please note you will be sharing the speedboat and minivan with other guests who have also booked the speedboat transfer. If you would like a private speedboat transfer for you and your travelling companions only, please let us know on the form below and we can advise you of private transfer prices.

Please note that the private boat transfer only operates in high season from November to April and is dependent on the weather. The usual car ferry option would have to be substituted if the sea was too rough for the speedboat.

The long tail boat arrived at the Koh Ngai Resort pier on time, and the pilot helped us with our luggage and with getting onto the boat, and when we arrived on land, after 45 minutes, he helped us to disembark and to carry our luggage to the van.
