Changlang Beach is Trang’s prettiest beach mainly because it’s kept well manicured by the upmarket Anantara resort perched on its edge

Changlang beach runs in an L shape from a couple hundred metres in front of the luxury Anantara Si Kao Resort and Spa and then turns the corner into a long uninhabited strip a couple of kilometres long.
The stretch of sand in front of the Anantara is unarguably beautiful, thanks to the stunning views across to the islands of Koh Ngai, Koh Muk and Koh Kradan, and the fact the beach is cleaned of debris each morning by the resort’s staff.

Anantara is the only resort on Changlang beach and it’s in prime position to enjoy epic sunsets each evening. If you’ve got the cash, it’s definitely worth splurging on a night or two here for a romantic break – a Deluxe Sea View room will give you views not only of the sea but also the aforementioned epic sunsets from your own private balcony.

There are no other restaurants on Changlang Beach (the Anantara has three of its own) but it’s a short drive to Pak Meng Beach, including the famous Yok Yor seafood restaurant, which is located at the southern end of Pak Meng so quite near to Anantara.
