The quiet cousin to Phuket and Krabi, Trang lies further south down the coastline and is still largely undiscovered by tourists.
There are several good quality hotels in and around Trang City which are a useful stopover before exploring the nearby islands. Trang City itself is also fun to explore for an afternoon and has some great eating options.
Trang is most famous for its coastline and the beautiful islands just off the mainland that are easily accessible. Koh Muk, Koh Ngai, Koh Libong and Koh Kradan are all small islands with just a handful of resorts between them. Koh Muk is nearest to the Trang mainland.
