The quiet cousin to Phuket and Krabi, Trang lies further south down the coastline and is still largely undiscovered by tourists.

There are several good quality hotels in and around Trang City which are a useful stopover before exploring the nearby islands. Trang City itself is also fun to explore for an afternoon and has some great eating options.
