The ferry tickets are not included in the price. Upon arrival at the pier all passengers must exit the van, walk to a separate booth which sells passenger tickets then walk on to the ferry. The driver will drive on to the ferry and you can board the minivan there. Ferry tickets cost 23 Thai Baht per person.

The journey time in the minivan from Trang Airport to Koh Lanta takes between 3.5 to 4 hours as there are two car ferry crossings on the drive from Trang to Koh Lanta. We recommend you bring water and snacks which can be purchased before leaving Trang.

  • The taxi driver will be waiting for you in Trang Airport Arrivals area with your name on a placard
  • If you are being picked up from your Koh Lanta hotel to go to Trang Airport, the driver will meet you in the Reception area of your hotel

The minivan is your own private transfer – you will not be sharing with other travellers. The taxi leaves at the time that you specify when booking. You will be collected from Trang Airport and transferred to your hotel on Koh Lanta – or the other way round if you wish to leave Koh Lanta to go to Trang.
