Koh Phangan is most famous for the monthly Full Moon Party, a wild all-night dance fest on Haad Rinn beach. Book accommodation well in advance – the island’s hotels near to the Full Moon Party regularly sell out. Many hotels also insist that guests stay a minimum of 4 nights, so watch out for that.
Besides the Full Moon Party, Koh Phangan is one of Thailand’s most beautiful and unspoilt islands. If you head further north away from the party zone, you’d never know the Full Moon Party existed
