Long Beach is a popular Koh Lanta beach for families offering a wide selection of hotels for all budgets and a lot of space for kids to play
The beach is fringed all along with pine trees and although its one of Koh Lanta’s most popular beach areas you can easily find a quiet spot if you walk away from your resort. The beach gently slopes towards the sea where the water goes deep very quickly. A perfect place to swim on a hot day but with smaller children it may be too deep.
Long Beach is separated in to two areas, the Northern section enjoys many restaurants and beach bars but walk to the road side and you will only find a handful of restaurants. The Southern end of the beach is more quieter and in parts has rocks in the water. A handful of resorts are scattered along the south of Long Beach but if you walk to the road a large amount of shops and restaurants await you.
You can may choose from a selection of Villas on Long Beach.

Children Go Free
In several Long Beach resorts children under a certain age are allowed to stay for free if they stay in the parents bed. If the child is over the required age an extra bed or a baby cot will be required and some hotels you may have to pay extra for this.
Long Beach Hotels With Kids Pools
Kids love to play in the water and Long Beach is one of the best beach areas for swimming but please note it does get deep quite quickly. Having a resort with a kids pool is also nice idea, kids can interact with other kids and it allows them more fun in the water.
