The Islands in the South of Thailand are even more accessible with daily ferry services connecting them and from several ports on the mainland. If you depart from Trang to Koh Jum or Koh Jum to Trang there is a choice of using the daily ferry service.
The local ferry departs daily and makes a stop on the way at Koh Mook, Koh Kraden, Koh Ngai and Koh Lanta before arriving at Koh Jum. The ferry between Trang and Koh Jum operates from November till April. In the low season they stop due to the winds changing directions creating unpredictable large waves. In the low season you will have to travel along the mainland by minivan.
