Like many old Thai homes there is two split levels. The upper level is where you live and spend most of the evenings and the lower level is for keeping cool in the day. The Levels concept was to keep this idea in mind recreating a villa designed for 21st century living.
The Upper Level:
The upper level is seen in the above picture where you will find your living room, kitchen, dining area, two en-suite double bedrooms. All rooms have direct access outside where you can relax on an expansive terrace whilst watching the stunning sun set over the Andaman Sea.
The Lower Level:
Thoughtfully designed with shady areas from the Villa and foliage. Here you can take a dip in your own private swimming pool and enjoy being outside with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ set, sunbeds and lounging chairs. Behind the Villa is a tropical toilet and changing room. The Levels also lets you enjoy your own private 1000sqm tropical garden which is surrounded by a high wall keeping the villa private and a safe haven for any children to play. The Garden is rich in vegetation where you will find fruits, herbs and spices that you are welcome to eat or use in your cooking.
The Living area is an open area connecting both the inside dining area and also the kitchen. The Living area is fully furnished with 2 air conditioned units, a giant corner sofa, coffee table, study desk, music system, T.V and Wi Fi internet.

Next to the living area is an inside dining table which can seat up to 6 guests and is equipped with all dish ware. Then the modern fully equipped Kitchen comes with a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, fresh coffee maker, toaster, gas cooker with 4 tops and an oven, fridge, blender, juicer, electric rice cooker, all cooking utensils and a breakfast bar.
The Levels Air Conditioned Master Bedroom comes with a king size bed, floor to ceiling windows with terrace access, TV, dressing room, walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom with outdoor shower, hairdryer, daybed, towels and bedsheets.
Enjoy the en-suite bathroom, this one is from the master bedroom which includes the bathtub. There is also an outside shower which does include shaving plugs.
The second Air Conditioned Bedroom comes with a king size bed, floor to ceiling windows with terrace access, T.V, wardrobe, en-suite shower room, towels and bedsheets.
Located in Phra Ae ( Long Beach) the Villa benefits from only being a short walk to Phra Ae’s main shopping and eating area where you will also find ATMs, bakeries and coffee shops. Refundable Deposit In Case Of Damage:
Upon arrival a 20000 Thai Baht deposit is also required in case of damage to the villa. This deposit will be refunded after your stay minus any damage costs.
How To Get To The Levels Villa
If you are arriving at Krabi airport or Phuket Airport booking an Express transfer will allow you to transfer quickly, safely and direct. Our driver will be waiting for you upon arrival at the arrivals gate with your name on a plaque then its a combination of minivan and speedboat travel direct to the villa. If you arrive very late at night the speedboat may not be operating, how ever you can normally still arrive on Koh Lanta the same day by using the Private Minivan service.
If you are already in Thailand you can also be picked up from your Hotel, with a time that suits you best and safely transferred directly to the Villa by using the Express transfers from popular areas like Ao Nang, Krabi Town, or Phuket these areas are also serviced by using the Private minivan.
Who will we meet upon arrival and what happens on departure
The Levels Villa is owned and managed by Chris and Gak who will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and show you around the villa. They have lived on Koh Lanta for many years and will be happy to offer their expert first hand knowledge of the Island and also be happy to help and advise you with any problems you encounter whilst you stay. Then on the day of departure they will come to inspect the villa for any damage and refund your deposit and also to say goodbye. Don’t forget to book an Express Transfer for you return to Krabi Airport or to any other close Thailand destinations.
What is nearby to this villa
The Levels is well positioned near Phra Ae’s main shopping and eating area. The Villa sits elevated in its own private grounds 400 meters away from the main road on a quiet hill side. The road to the villa is a simple dirt track wide enough for cars and the main incline to the villa is not steep except the last 50 meters which is quite steep. It can easily be walked but in the heat hiring a motorbike would be strongly advised. If you choose to walk at night please take a torch with you as part of the road is not properly lit.
The Levels Villa is located close to the quieter southern part of Long Beach or Relax Bay with its shallower water makes it ideal for kids to play. Both beach areas should take you no more than a 15 minutes walk. The Villa really benefits from being so close to many amenities which are situated along the road side.
Food and Drink
On the main Turn right 200 meters and you will find one of the best Koh Lanta Restaurants named Red Snapper offering the best imported steaks, salmon and large Tapas menu. In the day the Red Snapper opens at 10:00 offering good coffee and home made breads to make creative sandwiches. Directly across the road is Retro Balinese style Cafe and the popular French bakery Faim De Loup with fresh breads and pastries and if you keeping walking you will find the Bajen Restaurant offering international cuisine like pizza, pasta and steaks. Or the BeachComber Restaurant offering the best authentic Tex-Mex dishes in a nice garden area facing the Andaman Sea.
If your looking for simple Thai Food walk further right along the road 400 meters you will find restaurants like Sweet and Sour, Papaya Restaurant, Country Loas is an Isan place offering spicy Som Tam ( Papaya Salad ) and also mouth watering Nuer Nam Tok (Spicy Thai Beef Saldad – Nuer is beef and Nam Tok means water fall, when you have eaten your nose will run like a waterfall and you will come back for more ) Then there is Raan Restaurant with its cozy setting offering some great Thai and Seafood dishes, it is a little bit more expensive but the quality is well worth it.
This area is not short of any bars for a beer or cocktail. Walk right along the road and you can stagger between the Sari Club, Bajen Sports Bar, Opium bar and Galaxy Bar offering different party nights in the week. Then a little further you have the only fun club on the Island Funky Monkey, and many more bars next to each other like Shooters, The Irish Embassy, Ned Kellys and the Brit Cafe. There is also the Korner bar offering a party on a Saturday night.
Two bars which are set in very nice settings along the beach can be found close to the 7 Eleven shop look out for the Sanctuary and also the Mad Bull Beach bar at Lanta Castaway Resort which offers great cocktails.

How to travel around the Island from the villa
You will find many enjoyable things close to the Villa with in easy walking distance, how ever the Island is around 35 km long so for a stay renting a car, motorbike or Tuk Tuk would be advised. You can hire them on daily or weekly basis and Chris and Gak the villa managers will be happy to help and organise these rentals for you when you arrive on Koh Lanta.
If you are not comfortable with a bike or car then you can easily travel back and forth on the Island by using the local Tuk Tuk drivers. These can be a lot of fun and the locals with there friendly manner will entertain you as they go. How ever even after negotiating a good price this option does start to become expensive as each ride is charged per person. To find a taxi driver just wait next to the road and they will stop instantly. When you are in Saladan the main Koh Lanta Shopping area, if you walk out of the centre there are many queing up to take you home. How ever later at night this service can become sparse and getting home from a party at 3am can become a challenge. Upon on booking a villa we will also provide you with local contact Tuk Tuk driver numbers who we trust will take you home safely any time of the night.
Things to do on Koh Lanta
Whether you are travelling with friends, a romantic couple or a family with small children Koh Lanta offers many activities for you to enjoy. Take a day Kayaking, ride on an Elephant, enjoy time at the monkey school or squirm at the snake show. Go Deep Sea fishing in the day for Marlin and Barracuda or at night you can fish for squid. A Golf driving range is at hand to keep your swing in or try something new like Yoga, paddle boarding or windsurfing if the winds are right.
If you really want to get in to the culture you can enjoy an evening watching Muay Thai in one of three Koh Lanta stadiums or get your tongue around the language with a Thai for beginners class. Koh Lanta also offers amazing natural beauty with two Caves to explore and a National park full of virgin rainforest with wild monkeys not forgetting a waterfall in the green season and a butterfly farm.
