The ferry tickets are not included in the price. Upon arrival at the pier all passengers must exit the van, walk to a separate booth which sells passenger tickets then walk on to the ferry. The driver will drive on to the ferry and you can board the minivan there. Ferry tickets cost 23 Thai Baht per person.

The journey time in the minivan from Ao Nang to Koh Lanta takes between 1.5 to 3 hours as there are two car ferry crossings on the drive from Ao Nang to Koh Lanta. We recommend you bring water and snacks which can be purchased before leaving Ao Nang. The minivan driver will drop you right at the front door of your hotel on Koh Lanta.

The minivan is your own private transfer – you will not be sharing with other travellers. The taxi leaves at the time that you specify when booking. You will be collected from your hotel in Ao Nang and transferred to your hotel on Koh Lanta – or the other way round if you wish to leave Koh Lanta to go to Ao Nang.
