I was just informed the bloated baby whale shark which was found yesterday four miles off Koh Lanta has now died. After they where slowly taking it out to deeper water in there specially made sling, they soon turned around again as the inevitable happened.

I am not sure what they have done with the animal now. Maybe try to find out the real cause of what happened. Its very amazing watching how many people dedicated there time and effort to try and help. We know so little about these animals, where they go?, do they migrate?, how they mate? and it is a shame this whale shark was also a girl.

It may just be another situation how humans interfere and destroy many special things with out ever thinking of the consequences or the future. Thailand is in many ways years behind the education of other fishing counties which only truly understood there was a problem with over fishing and trawling when it was to late. Hopefully the education comes!
