Ao Nang is a small coastal town in Krabi with a strip of beach and surrounded by the region’s famous limestone karsts (or mountains). It’s a popular stopover point for travellers coming to and from the islands of Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi and Railay Beach. Ao Nang is about a 45 minute taxi drive from Krabi Airport.
